I DJ weddings, corporate events, private parties, school dances, family reunions, festivals, and brand activations. Each event type gets a tailored approach—a wedding needs more MC work and crowd reading, while a festival set is about energy and seamless mixing.

Yes, I offer full MC services for weddings and corporate events. That includes introductions, announcements, toasts coordination, and keeping the timeline moving so you don't have to worry about the flow of the night.

The person you book is the person who shows up. I don't subcontract unless there is an absolute emergency, and if that ever happens, you'll be informed immediately with a vetted backup covering your exact playlist and timeline.

Absolutely. I encourage clients to send must-plays, do-not-plays, and general vibe references. I'll blend your requests with crowd-reading in real time, and I'll always respect your no-play list—no exceptions.

Yes, unless you've asked me not to. Guest requests can be great for filling a dance floor, but I filter them through the host's preferences first. If a request clashes with your vision, I'll politely decline on your behalf.

I use a Bose F1 Model 812 system—four units total, two tops and two subwoofers, at 1000W continuous each. I also carry backup controllers and laptops. Every event has redundancy for the critical gear, so if a cable fails or a laptop hiccups, the music doesn't stop.

I typically need 6–8 feet of booth space and at least two dedicated 20A circuits for the sound system alone. Effects and video need additional circuits. For outdoor events, I coordinate with your venue or planner on power access and weather shelter in advance.

For weddings and peak-season events, 6–12 months is ideal. For club nights or corporate events, 4–8 weeks is usually workable. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date—availability goes fast in summer and around holidays.

Yes. I provide a separate wireless microphone and a dedicated sound system for the ceremony so the officiant and couple are heard clearly, independent of the reception setup. This keeps ceremony audio clean and free from reception-area interference.

Yes. School events get clean versions only—no profanity, no explicit content. I use the latest music with clean edits, and I can provide a playlist in advance for approval. This is not your ordinary school dance DJ; I know how to entertain young people appropriately.

The LED Video Wall is a large-format display for live video mixing, customized slideshows, monograms, logos, and live capture. Imagine dancing while the DJ mixes videos live on the wall—or seeing yourself on screen during Live Capture. It's available for karaoke, conferences, movie nights, concerts, festivals, corporate events, and weddings.

Social Media Live 2.0 is a multi-platform livestream production service. I bring 2 videographers, 2–4 HD cameras, wireless microphones, and a video switcher, then stream your event live to Facebook, YouTube, X, Zoom, TikTok, Twitch, Vimeo, and other platforms. Remote guests can participate from anywhere in the world.

The $1,999/day package includes 2 videographers on site, 2 HD cameras, 2 wireless microphones, 1 video switcher, 2 hours of recording, and 2 hours of streaming to multiple platforms. Options include a third videographer, up to 4 HD cameras, and additional wireless microphones as needed.

Yes. Your guests can join virtually from anywhere globally through the streaming platforms. They can watch live, comment, and participate in real time. This works especially well for weddings with out-of-town family, reunions, and corporate events with remote attendees.

No. I bring the LED wall, the display system, cameras, microphones, and streaming infrastructure. You don't need to rent a projector, screen, or provide extra hardware. I coordinate setup so it integrates with the DJ booth and venue layout.

Absolutely. Customized slideshows, monograms, and logos on the LED Wall are part of the service. For corporate events, we can rotate sponsor logos or branded content. For weddings or private parties, personal photo slideshows work well alongside the live video.

The primary LED wall is designed for indoor use and is securely supported by a truss structure due to its weight and size. The compact wall is more portable but also best suited indoors. For outdoor events, let me know the location and timing so I can confirm whether a wall is the right fit or recommend an alternative.

Yes. Social Media Live 2.0 is a standalone livestream production service. It doesn't require the LED Wall—I stream to remote platforms regardless of whether there's a display at the venue. The LED Wall and livestreaming are separate services that work well together but don't depend on each other.

I have two separate LED walls. The primary wall is 5 panels at W100" x H40" with 3.91mm pitch, mounted on a truss and two crank stands up to 10 feet—viewable from over 500 feet away, $1,999/day. The compact wall is 4 panels at W78.7" x H39.3", also 3.91mm pitch, floor-based with a built-in case and faster setup, $1,499/day. Both include design, programming, setup, breakdown, and removal.

Choose the primary wall for large events where impact matters—festivals, concerts, corporate conferences, and weddings with big audiences. Choose the compact wall for smaller venues, churches, schools, seminars, bars, restaurants, red carpet events, movie nights, or anywhere setup and breakdown need to happen quickly. The compact wall also works as a second screen alongside the primary wall.

Lighting and effects are à la carte add-ons, priced per day. Options include the Chauvet Gigbar Move ($299), 8 RGBWA-UV LED uplights ($399), 2 BSW 150W moving heads with 2 Glow Totems and 2 wash pars ($499), the Aurora Caliente RGB laser ($200), 2 cold Sparkulars ($300), and haze or dry ice fog ($100). You select what you want on the quote form.

BSW stands for Beam, Spot, and Wash—each 150W fixture can switch between all three modes. I use them for sweeping beams across the dance floor, focused spots on key moments like first dances, and soft washes that color the room. They're DMX-programmed to bounce with the music and can match your event's color scheme.

The 8 uplights mix Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, and UV into any color you want. The UV channel makes white clothing and decorations glow under blacklight. They're wireless DMX with remote control, battery-powered for 8 hours, and placed around the room's walls and pillars to add depth and color without glare.

The 8ft Glow Totems are illuminated columns bundled with the BSW Moving Heads package—they frame the dance floor and stay lit all night. The 2 cold Sparkulars are 650W units that create a shower of sparks with no real flame, no smoke, and no heat. They're safe indoors and near guests, and I follow the manufacturer's minimum clearance at every event.

They're the same $100/day line item with two machine options. The Marq DMX800 Haze produces fine airborne haze that makes moving head beams visible in the air and adds atmosphere to the dance floor. The Mr. Kool II produces dry ice low-lying fog that hugs the floor—best for first dances, entrances, and dramatic reveals. You pick one based on the moment you're creating.

The Aurora Caliente is a DMX-ready RGB laser that projects beams and patterns across the room. Festivals, schools, and large events love it because it fills a big space with movement and energy. It's $200/day and pairs well with the moving heads and haze for a full club-style atmosphere.

The sound system alone draws 4,000W continuous—four Bose F1 units at 1000W each—and requires at least two dedicated 20A circuits. Effects add on top: Sparkulars 650W each, haze 700W, LED panels 250W each. I carry a portable 1000W generator as a temporary bridge for the DJ rig and basic lighting during a brief outage; it is not sized to power the full sound system or LED walls. I coordinate circuits with the venue in advance.

DJ bookings require a 25% retainer to lock the date, with the balance due before the event. Video wall and lighting rentals are priced per day. Social Media Live 2.0 is $1,999/day. I accept bank transfer and major payment apps, and all pricing is confirmed in your quote before you commit.

Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to a new date if rescheduled at least 30 days out, subject to availability. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the retainer. Full terms are in the contract—no surprises.

Yes, I carry public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue or planner upon request. Most venues require this, so it's already handled.

I'm based in Charleston, South Carolina. Local travel is included; for events beyond my standard service area, I add a flat travel fee or mileage, clearly listed in your quote before you commit. No hidden charges.

Request a free boutique quote at chuckanthanio.net/quote-dj.php. The form walks you through contact info, event location, event details, and event options, then confirms your custom quote. You can also call 1.843.580.6298 or email dj@chuckanthanio.com. I reply within 24–48 hours.

For events over 4 hours, a vendor meal is appreciated but not required. I use the dinner hour to reset for the dance floor but remain available for announcements. I stay on-site and ready throughout the event.

I default to clean versions unless you explicitly request the explicit version. If a song only has an explicit version, I will either avoid it or check with you first. This keeps the music appropriate for all audiences.

Yes, and most clients do. DJ plus lighting is common, as is DJ plus video wall, or video wall plus Social Media Live 2.0 for hybrid events. Combining services simplifies setup, coordination, and pricing. Tell me what you're planning and I'll build a package quote.
